Position Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of guest rooms while delivering exceptional hospitality. This position plays a vital role in ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay that reflects the Westin brand standards.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Westin and CMC Hotels brand standards.
  • Make beds, replace linens, towels, and replenish guest room amenities and supplies.
  • Dust, vacuum, sanitize, and thoroughly clean all guest room areas, including bathrooms.
  • Inspect rooms to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or safety hazards promptly.
  • Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests and housekeeping needs.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow housekeeping team members and other hotel departments to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, sanitation procedures, and proper cleaning techniques is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and cleanliness.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
  • Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, twisting, and climbing.
  • Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency.
