Job description

The Dining Room Host is responsible for creating a clean, welcoming, and exceptional dining experience for guests. This role focuses on hospitality, cleanliness, guest engagement, and ensuring the dining room reflects Chick-fil-A’s standards of excellence. Dining Room Hosts serve as ambassadors of hospitality by interacting with guests, assisting with dining room needs, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, restrooms, patio, and beverage station
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality to all guests
  • Assist guests with seating, tray carrying, refills, and special requests when needed
  • Monitor dining room traffic and ensure tables are cleaned promptly
  • Stock dining room supplies including napkins, condiments, straws, lids, and beverages
  • Sweep, mop, and sanitize dining areas throughout the shift
  • Respond quickly to guest concerns and communicate issues to leadership when necessary
  • Support team members in Front of House operations during busy periods
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
  • Create a warm, family-friendly environment for every guest
