Evening Nurse Supervisor (RN)
Location: Guardian Angels Care Center - Elk River, MN
Salary Range: $40 - $52.88/Hour (Based on Experience)

  • Exempt, Monday - Thursday
  • No on call

Position Summary:
The Evening Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the oversite of nursing operation throughout the 120 bed facility that provides long term care and skilled therapy services. This leadership opportunity focuses on ensuring high quality clinical care and customer service by focusing on personalized resident care within state and federal regulations.
Job Duties:
  • Guide and assist nursing team with proper and timely completion of Resident assessments, orders, and cares
  • Be a resource for staff, residents, and visitors for after-hours questions and concerns.
  • Complete in-time training, feedback, and follow-up regarding best practice for resident care.
  • Utilize independent critical thinking to problem solve and address a variety of situations and scenarios.
  • Provide communication and collaboration between shifts to ensure the flow of clinically necessary information for continuity of care
  • Support clinical team with workflow and staffing adjustments.
  • Provide routine communication and updates to Director of Nursing
  • Ensure resident safety and address potential OHFC/Vulnerable Adult Situations
  • Promptly reports suspected abuse or neglect to Director of Nursing. Participates in vulnerable adult investigations with SW and DON, including interviewing staff, residents, collecting written statements.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years Long Term Care Experience
  • 1 + years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Current unrestricted licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota
  • Willingness to work with other disciplines in coordinating and monitoring resident services and activities directed toward achieving the highest practicable level of physical, mental, psychosocial, and spiritual health of our residents.
  • Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written (read, write) communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
