Overview

We're looking for a Manager, GTM Strategic Initiatives for our office inAlpharetta, GA. This is a full-time, onsite position. You'll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the role

As the Manager, GTM Strategic Initiatives, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing Aptean's global strategy and annual priorities. This high-impact position combines strategic planning with operational excellence, driving initiatives that align company growth objectives with execution across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Enablement. You'll lead cross-functional programs focused on long-range planning, performance optimization, and scalable processes that enable growth. Your work will span strategic analysis, process design, and operational execution, ensuring alignment between business priorities and results.

Success in this role requires a proactive, structured thinker who thrives in ambiguity, connects the dots across complex challenges, and fosters momentum through clear communication and compelling storytelling. You'll bring both strategic insight and operational rigor, ensuring that GTM strategies are scalable, data-driven, and aligned to business priorities. If you're energized by the opportunity to operate in a consulting-style role within a dynamic, private equity-backed organization, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact and accelerate your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Alignment - Drive the development and execution of high-impact initiatives that align GTM strategy with company growth objectives. Partner with senior leadership to prioritize goals, allocate resources, and ensure operational focus across functions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership - Lead complex planning processes involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Enablement. Build consensus among diverse stakeholders and maintain momentum through clear communication and structured execution.
  • Market and Business Analysis - Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer segmentation, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Deliver actionable insights that guide planning and optimize resource allocation.
  • Process Development - Design and implement scalable planning frameworks, calendars, and documentation to support long-range growth. Establish best practices that enable repeatable, efficient operations.
  • Executive Storytelling and Presentations - Build clear, compelling documentation and strategic narratives for leadership. Translate complex analysis into high-impact, executive-level presentations that drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Revenue Optimization and Growth - Identify opportunities to accelerate revenue and improve operational efficiency. Provide strategic input on GTM motions, product launches, and process enhancements to maximize business performance.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting - Define success metrics and develop dashboards to monitor progress against strategic objectives. Partner with Analytics and Finance to forecast performance and benchmark productivity.

About you

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in consulting, private equity, revenue operations, or GTM planning, ideally within a SaaS or software environment.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with a balance of strategic thinking and operational detail.
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint with strong storytelling and executive communication skills.
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel required, experience with Salesforce, Anaplan, or Xactly preferred.
  • Familiarity with common program/project planning tools and best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability and a proactive mindset are key.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

What's in it for you?

Aptean offers competitive pay and robust benefit plans along with the opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, flexible and casual environment, an outstanding opportunity for career development and growth.
