We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our Seattle operations team.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and operations activities while working closely alongside employees to drive performance, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. This hands-on leadership role manages daily warehouse functions including receiving, inventory control, order accuracy, shipping, delivery coordination, and warehouse operating systems.
This position also plays a key leadership role in building and developing a strong team culture through recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, training, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support daily warehouse and operational activities
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
  • Maintain delivery timeliness and operational efficiency
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, including fleet and warehouse safety
  • Manage and develop warehouse staff through coaching, counseling, and performance management
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, Hazard Communication, and company safety standards
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on customer service and accountability
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse management experience in wholesale distribution preferred
  • Experience managing teams of 10+ employees
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing outstanding service to both internal and external customers
  • Experience with employee coaching, hiring, training, and performance management
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and warehouse safety programs
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Plumbing and/or water works industry knowledge preferred, but not required
