We are focused on scaling our reach and validating a repeatable go-to-market motion with high-quality customers.

UpSmith seeks to hire a Growth Associate to contribute to go-to-market efforts that drive consistent revenue growth for the business. This position will work alongside the UpSmith leadership team at our headquarters to drive business development and outbound sales efforts, produce high-quality content, and represent the business well to prospective clients. This is a high-impact opportunity to make a measurable contribution to a growing venture-backed AI company.

Responsibilites

Pipeline Development

  • Source and build a prospect list of high-fit targets using ServiceTitan and other signals from the ICP.
  • Segment and prioritize accounts by revenue potential, sales readiness, and aggregator affiliation.
  • Maintain and manage all deal activity across the sales cycle in Hubspot, UpSmith’s CRM.

Outbound Execution

  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and social.
  • Book and facilitate discovery and demo calls for UpSmith leadership.
  • Tailor messaging based on Jenny’s differentiated agentic AI capabilities and the customer's business context.

Sales Enablement + Strategy

  • Identify partnership opportunities & define strategy across channels
  • Produce collateral in the form of data sheets, case studies, and podcasts
  • Prepare tailored, value-based sales presentations using Google docs & AI tools
  • Partner with internal teams to refine demo narratives and buyer objections
  • Help codify early learnings into a repeatable sales playbook for future GTM team members

Requirements

  • Top tier college graduate with strong intellectual horsepower and curiosity
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in startup / growth stage environments in other VC-backed capacities
  • Entrepreneurial, fast-moving, self-directed, and coachable
  • Skilled communicator (both written and verbal), credible with operators and owners in the skilled trades; able to concisely articulate technical concepts
  • Aligned with UpSmith’s mission and ready to contribute immediately
