Flynn Calgary is looking for a Glazing Project Manager to join our team!  The position of Project Manager is a skilled role, in which the Project Manager provides the overall on-site administrative and technical management for a project, while ensuring the total constructive efforts are in accordance with the plans and specifications and are communicated to all parties involved.

Day in the Life

  • Manage budget and all financial aspects of projects in our internal forecasting portal (PFP)
  • Track project in our Project Information Lifecycle program (PIL)
  • Main point of contact for assigned projects
  • Work with Safety and Foreman to ensure all Safety measures are in place
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, external suppliers and customers
  • Identify potential conflicts and negotiate best solutions
  • Take the lead on project kickoffs, hand overs and autopsy meetings with the project team
  • Communicate with the project team on a daily basis

What We Are Seeking

  • 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in a construction environment
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, delegate, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Post secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology is an asset
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
