Job description

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist for our Residential Group homes directly serving at-risk youth. Must have high level of initiative, effective communication skills and ability to maintain proper boundaries. This Occupational Therapist will implement treatment plans, lead/model activities of daily living, teach/role model age-appropriate social and living skills, provide structure and support routines, support the treatment philosophy of the program, complete home making tasks, organize and inventory supplies, prepare meals, clean, and other various duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s level Occupational Therapy license preferred
  • Successful completion of required trainings once hired, including but not limited to CPI, CPR, First Aid
  • Approved CORI & DCF background checks (preformed by the EEC)
  • Approved driving background check
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
