Job description

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Night Stocker to join our team at Price Chopper. In this role, you'll play a critical part in preparing the store for the next day-stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store is clean, full, and ready for a seamless shopping experience when doors open.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
  • Stock, rotate, and face products to ensure shelves are full, organized, and ready for guests
  • Unload pallets and transport merchandise to designated aisles safely and efficiently
  • Break down boxes, dispose of packaging materials, and maintain a clean, organized stockroom and sales floor
  • Maintain accurate product placement, pricing, and shelf organization
  • Ensure aisles, backroom areas, and fixtures are clean, safe, and well-maintained
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low, excess, or damaged items to leadership
  • Assist with overnight cleaning tasks such as sweeping aisles, wiping fixtures, and preparing displays for opening
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, scanners, and related tools safely and efficiently
  • Follow all workplace safety, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Work efficiently and independently during non-peak hours to complete stocking and recovery tasks
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and leadership to support efficient overnight operations
  • Collaborate across departments to support storewide efficiency and readiness
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance, conduct, and dress code standards
  • Support loss prevention efforts by staying alert and following proper procedures
  • Participate in required trainings and continuous learning opportunities
  • Remain productive throughout the shift by organizing backstock and improving shelf conditions
  • Other job duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Required: Ability to work overnight shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Preferred: Experience in grocery, retail, stocking, or warehouse environments
