Job description

Job Title: Cart Barn Attendance 

Reports To: Head Professional

Hourly Rate: $16.90

Part Time- 20-32 hours per week

Job Overview


Responsibilities for golf cart attendance:

  • When necessary, loading and unloading golf clubs onto and off of golf carts

  • Cleaning and preparing golf carts before and after use to include removing towels, used items and trash, washing and wiping down

  • Reporting any cart problems to the Pro Shop staff as soon as possible

  • Cleaning golf clubs and ensuring they are returned to assigned storage area

  • Maintaining bag room and cart barn, keeping those areas neat and clean at all times

  • Performing maintenance of driving range to include, but not limited to, picking up range balls, setting up and cleaning range, aligning hitting area ropes and collecting baskets

  • Providing excellent customer service to members and players, including greeting them warmly and providing assistance when needed

  • Accountable to the golf cart fleet ensuring cart is clean, stocked, and properly stored

  • Help all guests load and unload golf bags from their cars

  • Responsible for cleaning golf carts

  • Must have excellent communication and work independently. 


Qualifications:


  • Must have Outgoing/Positive personality

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Familiarity with golf course etiquette preferred

  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings

  • Be flexible and able to work split shifts that will include early mornings, weekends, and public holidays

  • Must be able to work long hours, varied shifts and weekends, holidays and some night shifts 

Working Conditions:


  • May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on service area.

  • Varied weather conditions are expected.

  • Will work near mechanical equipment and hot surfaces.

  • Will work with aerosol and other cleaning chemicals.


Physical Requirements:


  • Able to lift 40 pounds
