The Golf Cart Driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and efficient transportation for customers between the grocery store and designated parking areas. This role enhances the customer shopping experience by assisting customers with transportation, loading groceries, and ensuring a welcoming, friendly environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a golf cart on store property while following all safety guidelines and traffic rules.
  • Transport customers to and from the store entrance and parking areas.
  • Assist customers with loading groceries into their vehicles when needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance.
  • Help customers with mobility challenges by ensuring safe boarding and exiting of the golf cart.
  • Keep the golf cart clean, charged/fueled, and in good working condition.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of the golf cart and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrian traffic and operate the vehicle defensively at all times.
  • Assist with retrieving shopping carts and other customer service tasks during slow periods, as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred (if required by company policy).
