The IU Southeast Grenadier Hub is a student journey 1 stop comprised of Academic Advising, Career Development, Student Central, and Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Job Summary
Department Specific Responsibilities
  • Frequently interfaces directly with students and collaborates with staff on shared student services roles.
  • Responsible for providing advising services and student journey support for multiple student populations through the IU Southeast Grenadier Hub. Student services available in the Grenadier Hub include Academic Advising, Career Development, Student Central, and Financial Aid and Scholarships.
  • Delivers full range of customer service to all clients including current students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Understand basic policy and procedures in regards to billing, refunding, registration, drop/add, transcripts, student deadlines, financial aid and related enrollment management departments.
  • Schedules appointments, processes reports, copying, filing, folding letters, and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in higher education, student affairs, public affairs, counseling, social work, education, business, or a related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
  • 2 years in student services, higher education, or related field.
SKILLS
Required
  • Proficient communications skills.
