As we grow and expand our current offerings, we can offer a truly unique and exciting opportunity for experienced, entrepreneurial-minded software professionals to directly give form and shape to not only the products but to the culture and the company itself.

Reporting to the VP of Product, the Product Designer is responsible for deeply understanding our customers' needs, developing ideas, and designing solutions. You will work very closely with Product Management, Engineering, and our users to create simple, enjoyable user experiences. You will implement industry best practices to promote intuitive designs that delight users, reduce churn, and drive business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead all design aspects of a project from start to finish to build an elegant, cohesive user experience to solve complex problems
  • Deeply understand the problems we are trying to solve to translate business requirements into innovative, usable, and technically feasible workflows and designs.
  • Advocate for the user while collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence product decisions, prioritization, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Generate organized deliverables at the appropriate level of fidelity needed to drive discovery and ideation effectively, obtain early stakeholder and user feedback, and communicate the intent of the design solution
  • Validate design solutions with usability testing and quantitative/qualitative customer research
  • Seek out and embrace feedback from your peers and collaborators while providing thoughtful feedback to your team.

Requirement Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience working in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and best practices
  • Proven experience balancing ideal user experiences and testing with the realities of timelines and deliverables
  • Proven experience using AI to drive discovery, design, and delivery
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Comfortable working closely with front-end developers (bonus points if you have experience working directly with code - React preferred)
  • Empathy for the customer, your teammates, and the company mission and values.
  • Bonus points for experience in the medical device or similar regulated industry
