Greenlight is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack for our Web Core team. This is an exceptional, high-impact opportunity to help bring Greenlight's core product functionality to the web. As part of a horizontal platform team, you'll build and evolve the foundational systems that power web experiences across the organization, partnering with product and engineering teams to enable scalable, high-quality development. • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Modern build tools (Turborepo, etc.), Testing (Cypress, React Testing Library, Jest).
  • Backend & Infrastructure: Node.js, Express, TypeScript, REST APIs, Kubernetes (EKS).

Your day-to-day:
  • Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX.
  • Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform.
  • Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution.
  • Design, modify, and develop backend services that power web products, ensuring systems scale and championing system reliability, performance, and observability.

What you'll bring to the team:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
  • Deep expertise in React/Next.js/Remix
  • Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with Node.js/TypeScript
  • Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.

Preferred experience:
  • Experience with A/B testing/experimentation and modern MarTech tools (Segment, Optimizely, Mixpanel, Amplitude).

Who we are:
It takes a talented team to aim for a mission like ours. We're looking for people who ask "is it bold enough?" People who bring their real selves to the table and push the people around them to do the same. We win by never hesitating to jump in, offer a hand, or share the credit, because we know we're stronger together than apart. And through all of it, the mission stays the thing we measure ourselves against: are we doing right by the families counting on us? If that sounds like your kind of team, we'd love for you to apply.
