What is a green team?

A Green Team is a group of employees or volunteers within an organization dedicated to promoting environmentally friendly practices and sustainability initiatives. Their responsibilities can include organizing recycling programs, reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and raising awareness about environmental issues. Green Teams play a vital role in helping organizations reduce their environmental impact and foster a culture of sustainability. Members often collaborate on projects, host educational events, and recommend eco-friendly policies. By engaging coworkers and stakeholders, Green Teams help drive positive change toward a greener workplace.

What types of projects does a green team member typically work on, and how do they collaborate with other departments?

Green Team members are often involved in projects centered on sustainability initiatives, such as reducing energy consumption, implementing recycling programs, and promoting eco-friendly practices across the organization.
