Job description

Village Green is hiring for a full time Logistics Truck Driver to operate a variety of trucks including: semi, hook truck, curtain side strait truck, single axle dump, and quad axel dump. Come join this awesome team!

Pay Range: $25.00-$32.00 /hour DOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operating a variety of trucks to meet the varied needs of the organization including: semi, hook truck, curtain side strait truck, single axle dump, and quad axel dump.
  • Responsible for hauling landscape and snow removal materials such as dirt, class 5, salt, and snow.
  • Operate salt trucks for commercial snow management
  • Operates and maintains all equipment within company safety and preventive maintenance standards
  • Maintains records of job status
  • Proficient in the use of various operating systems and technology to track and report jobs
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Works collaboratively with the team and company leadership
  • Works autonomously demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
· Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
· Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test
· Flexible work hours
Preferred
- Class A commercial driver's license
· Experience with driving a truck with a manual transmission
