Recruitment Consultant & Development Manager - New York
JCW Group is a global recruitment specialist firm focused on governance, risk and compliance, connecting permanent, interim, and executive-level talent with organizations across the USA and Europe. The group comprises three specialist brands covering financial services, technology, and life sciences recruitment.
We are growing our New York team and looking for a recruiter who brings both hands on recruiting experience and an interest and ability in helping develop others. This is a dual-function role sitting across GRC recruitment and internal training and development.
What you'll be doing:
Recruitment (40% Time Spent)
  • Running either a 180, or 360 recruitment desk across the GRC domain
  • Building and maintaining candidate pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and direct outreach
  • Managing the full candidate journey from initial approach through to offer and placement

Training & Development (50% Time Spent)
  • Designing and delivering new hire academies, taking recruits from onboarding through running a productive desk
  • Conducting classroom trainings, provide on desk support, contributing to Global Development Team meetings, and meeting regularly with office leadership to identify team needs and create training plans
  • Partnering with managers on performance reviews, helping to assess consultant development and identify areas for targeted support

Office Leadership & Culture (10% Time Spent)
  • Collaborating with office MD to execute on office wide drives and initiatives
  • Taking ownership of projects assigned by senior leadership, seeing them through from planning to execution
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the office by providing ground-level insight on team performance, morale, and development needs

What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience in agency recruitment, any industry experience accepted, we will support in a transition into the GRC market
  • Demonstrated experience training, coaching, or teaching others (required)
  • Experience in designing and delivering content like slideshows, live demonstrations, and role plays
