ServiceNow GRC Administrator

The customer is seeking qualified candidates who will assist the Office of Information Technology in their daily operations, support, and services. The Department may select one or more candidates for this position. The positions are for short-term assignments with a duration extending until June 30, 2025. Candidates available immediately are preferred. Candidates can either work part-time or full-time. The number of weeks is dependent upon the available budget.

Primary Job Duties and Tasks

ServiceNow GRC Administrator

  • Configure, customize, and maintain the ServiceNow GRC module, including policies, controls, risks, and audits.
  • Manage GRC integrations with third-party tools and internal systems.
  • Administer user roles, access controls, and security within the GRC module.
  • Design and manage the lifecycle of policies, including creation, approval, publication, and updates.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by ensuring GRC data integrity.
  • Track compliance requirements and ensure timely reporting.
  • Maintain audit evidence and ensure it is easily accessible for review.
  • Track, manage, and resolve compliance issues and incidents.
  • Develop and maintain GRC dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.
  • Provide real-time visibility into risk posture, compliance status, and audit findings.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on GRC processes and tools.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for GRC configurations, workflows, and processes.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:

As a ServiceNow GRC admin, the primary job duties involve configuring, customizing, and maintaining the ServiceNow GRC module, including policies, controls, risks, and audits.

Minimum Required KSAs:

  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the job duties listed below:
    • ServiceNow GRC module (Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, and Audit Management).
    • ServiceNow architecture, data model, and integration capabilities.
    • Governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
    • ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
    • Configuring and customizing the ServiceNow GRC module, including forms, workflows, and notifications.
    • Scripting languages used in ServiceNow (JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules, UI Actions, Script Includes).
    • Create and maintain custom reports, KPIs, and dashboards to provide visibility into GRC processes.
    • Documenting configurations, processes, and audit trails.

Ability to provide excellent customer support, meticulous quality of work, and work product.
