Job description

Seeking a creative & adaptable Administrative Assistant who can quickly and easily work in MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), database management and is internet savvy to join the English Rose business office team.
This is a Part-Time opportunity, three days per week, Monday 830-5pm, Wednesday 830-5pm and Friday 830-2pm.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and edit power point presentations as well as other graphic flyers for internal and external use
  • Optimize the English Rose social presence by approving posts, developing compelling posts and create graphics aligned with our brand standards in our internal English Rose app
  • Research vendors and create proposals to present to Senior Leadership for evaluation
  • Develop and maintain various spreadsheets for data collection as well as our electronic Team Member Date Base
  • Research and prepare orders and ensure expectations are met upon delivery and before distribution
  • Accurately and consistently maintain files and HIPAA protected information
  • Assist the Owner and Finance Manager with miscellaneous projects as assigned

  • Professional demeanor, appearance and able to display positive attitude at all times
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as high customer service ability as you will interface with vendors
  • Need to be good with changes to routine and tasks assigned
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and focused with strong time management skills
  • Must be comfortable and able to be trained in technology such as with social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and use of various apps
  • Highly knowledgeable with Word, Excel & PowerPoint functionality (organization is primarily on Mac)
  • Ability to remain calm and composed when others are not
  • Comfort working within a memory care environment
  • Good sense of design (not required, but a bonus)
