They typically work under the supervision of experienced designers or creative directors, assisting with tasks such as creating layouts, editing images, and preparing visual content for various media. The role is designed to help trainees develop technical skills, creativity, and familiarity with industry-standard tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
