Santo Domingo Pueblo is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to serve as our SORNA Program Coordinator.Summary of Position:The incumbent manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Santo Domingo Pueblo SORNA Program and serves as a liaison between the Pueblo, SMART Office, U.S. Department of Justice, law enforcement agencies, and COSA stakeholders. Coordinates supportive networks for registered sex offenders ("Core Members") who have served a sentence or are under community supervision, promoting accountability, successful reintegration, and compliance with registration requirements. Responsible for developing and managing grants, budgets, reporting requirements, and other program-related activities.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in criminal justice preferred, and two years law enforcement or an equivalent combination of education and experience which may include experience as a Pueblo Tribal Official.Knowledge of SORNA requirements, offender registration procedures, community supervision, and reentry services preferred.Experience working with tribal, federal, state, or local government agencies preferred.Experience with grant writing, grant management, budgeting, and program reporting preferred.Fluent in the Keres language preferred.
