Job description

Summary

Granite America specializes in kitchens and bathrooms, so a professional lead installer will require a comprehensive understanding of cabinetry and construction to ensure that the final installation of countertops is completed in a professional manner. You will be required to be traveling on a daily basis working with the installation team to the customer job-site.

Good communication with coworkers and customers to resolve any/all installation and service concerns is paramount to this position. You will need to ensure that the Installation Manager and Scheduler are continually updated on all projects as they are completed and/or issues are communicated to you.

Responsibilities and Duties

⮚ Check that your installation vehicle is safely outfitted your load is secure

⮚ Confirm that your installation vehicle is licensed, and DOT documents are current and within the vehicle ⮚ You will be responsible to follow company guidelines should either a vehicle or personal incident occur while working on company projects/travel etc.

⮚ Review current day’s installation schedule with Installation Manager to ensure that clients expectations are maintained

⮚ Review next day installation schedule with Installation Manager to ensure that clients expectations are maintained

Direct/Instruct/Work with your installation team to ensure that the customer has a professional experience with the Granite America Granite company

⮚ At all times be aware of team members and customer safety

⮚ Interact with company provided computer and smartphone apps to update/manage jobs in the ERP System ⮚ Proper safety equipment is worn at all times (steel toe shows, eye protection, ear protection) ⮚ Report any/all issues with Installation Manager before ending your day

⮚ Report any/all vehicle and trailer issues with the Project Manager or Scheduler

⮚ Monitor vehicle maintenance schedule for Oil Change etc.

⮚ Document and submit any ongoing concerns that need to be addressed by Management with regards to your position in the company

Qualifications and Skills

⮚ High school diploma/GED required

⮚ Valid Driver’s License

⮚ Current Driver Extract

⮚ Ability to manage schedule calendars within ERP System

⮚ Excellent phone manner

⮚ Advanced communication and organizational skills with installation team members and customers ⮚ Excellent knowledge of Countertop terminology highly desire

⮚ Able to work under pressure

⮚ Professional presence and attire is required

⮚ Able to work with Digitized Measuring Systems, training will be supplied

⮚ Drafting or CAD Experience is highly desired

⮚ Able to read construction/blue print floor plans

⮚ First Aid and CPR Emergency Training is required
