Service Express Lube Technician

Graham Automotive Group – Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE

Graham Automotive is seeking a motivated Service Express Lube Technician to join our Volkswagen, Audi, and Volvo team. This position is designed as an entry point into our technician development program and provides a clear path to becoming an Apprentice Technician and eventually a Certified Technician.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, coachable, team-oriented, and willing to learn in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance services.
  • Complete multi-point vehicle inspections accurately and thoroughly.
  • Document vehicle conditions and maintenance recommendations.
  • Perform fluid exchanges and preventative maintenance services.
  • Inspect tires, brakes, batteries, filters, and other wear items.
  • Road test vehicles when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership processes.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to develop diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Communicate inspection findings and repair needs to service advisors.
  • Participate in manufacturer and dealership training programs.
  • Assist technicians and service department personnel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic automotive knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Willingness to learn and advance within the organization.

  • Performing thorough vehicle inspections on every vehicle.

Schedule
  • Monday through Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
  • One-hour lunch break
  • Rotating Saturday mornings: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Full-time position

Employees are expected to be on the shop floor and ready to work at 7:45 AM each day.
