Position Overview

The Technical Writer/Editor will support Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power and Battle Management Command, Control & Communications Program Executive Offices.

Essential Job Function

  • Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the organization, missions, operations, and initiatives.
  • Gather, develop, and check the accuracy of information from a wide range of sources, to include but not limited to the Acquisition Deltas and staff organizations.
  • Analyze and recommend pertinent information, the most logical and effective use of the information, and the overall length and tone of the message based upon the objectives of the communication event and the audience.
  • Coordinate with the Government to ensure consistency of messages for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist in determining the overall organization of the presentation and edit the information for clarity and accuracy.
  • As necessary, perform additional research and provide recommendations on submissions from other staff activities to organize, balance, and apply a consistent sense of style, grammar, and flow to the finished product.
  • Prepare and arrange graphics to support presentations, as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Government to ensure accuracy and consistency of messages.

Minimum Qualifications

  • TS/SCI
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Minimum 12 years experience in Technical Writing
  • Demo link required

COMPENSATION / SALARY RANGE:
STI-TEC adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The following salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
Salary Range $95,000 - $125,000 Annual Salary
