Job Summary:

  • Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
  • Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned.
  • Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Ensures a high quality of images produced.
  • Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences.
  • Two (2) years’ experience as a Radiologic Tech plus two (2) years’ experience as a CT Tech.
  • CT Registration may substitute for the 2 years CT experience required.
  • NM Radiologic Tech licensure.
  • ARRT Registration (Radiology); ARRT Registration (CT) preferred and will substitute for 2 years CT experience.
  • Current BLS or obtain per policy upon hire; must maintain BLS Certification.
