Job Summary

This position continually monitors accreditation standards and the institution’s and programs’ compliance with these standards. This includes monitoring outcomes and processes relative to resident and medical student education and develops systems and tools to ensure continuous accreditation. Additionally, this position helps position Graduate Medical Education in a favorable position financially by helping maximize funding for Graduate Medical Education, improving processes to increase inpatient and outpatient revenue, improving processes and reporting methods to reduce costs, and processes and reporting of cost avoidance and in-direct savings of Graduate Medical Education in the organization.

Job Qualification

  • Education: Master's Degree required in Healthcare Administration, Education, Business Administration, or Public Health or other relevant degree.
  • Experience in Graduate or Undergraduate Medical Education required.
  • Required minimum five (5) years of healthcare or education experience within a hospital or academic institution.
  • Experience in project administration and leadership including meeting facilitation.
  • Ability to understand compliance systems and processes from accreditation agencies such as ACGME, Joint Commission, CMS, etc.
