Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our growing projects team in Mississauga, ON.

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager the Senior Project Engineer will provide technical assistance in the planning, designing, evaluating, executing and handover of the assigned projects in accordance with company, client and project requirements. The tasks you'll perform Supporting the Project Manager to ensure the quality of output is delivered by the project team Ensuring output is aligned with the needs of project / study, the company objectives and client requirements Supporting and providing technical competence in the delivery of projects and studies Following project specific and company procedures, work practices, plans and protocols to efficiently and consistently and provide a high standard of work Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Assembly of scope of work packages to support procurement and construction activities as required Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring within the project engineering team. The expertise you'll bring A degree and/or Post-Graduate qualification in Engineering, preference for Mechanical will be given.

7+ years post graduate experience in the minerals processing sector. Proven experience in EPC and EPCM environments, preferably in gold and base metals. Highly developed people and relationship skills with demonstrated ability to work in a multidiscipline professional team environment communicating and motivating effectively at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrate understanding and awareness of project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental, community and industrial relations issues. Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally. Detailed oriented with the ability to act independently to complete tasks accurately and effectively.

The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000. This range is based on the role's job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting.
