Join a mission-driven health system committed to excellence in medical education and patient care. Health First is seeking an experienced and passionate physician-educator to serve as Program Director for the developing Internal Medicine ACGME-accredited residency program.

The Program Director will lead the residency program, ensuring excellence in education, clinical training, and compliance with ACGME standards.

General Requirements:

  • Board Certification in the relevant specialty by the appropriate certifying board (e.g., ABIM).
  • Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in graduate medical education.
  • Demonstrated scholarly activity aligned with the programs mission.
  • Active Florida Medical License
  • Familiarity with GME online and reporting systems including NRMP or SF Match, ERAS, AMA, Freida, GMETrack, ABOS, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Program Director, Associate Program Director, or core faculty.
  • Experience in curriculum development, resident evaluation, and faculty development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
