Job Description Legal Assistant - Condominium Downtown Toronto Our client, an outstanding law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto is in need of a Legal Assistant with some exposure to Real Estate Law or Condominiums or a recent graduate from a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant program to join its team. The successful candidate will closely work the very busy Condominium Law Clerks and play an important role in supporting the department through various administrative requirements and tasks. This is a full time permanent role.

This role is all in office for optimum learning. Responsibilities: Reviewing Agreements of Purchase and Sale and entering information into Lawyer Done Deal Keeping track of large condominium projects using MS Excel Assist with the management of all deposits related to condominium purchases for numerous units/buildings Assisting in the closing process for both interim and final closings Organizing files and keeping all filing up to date (both paper and electronic) Diarizing and tracking closings by maintaining team calendars Various administrative tasks such as: handling incoming phone calls, mail, faxes and emails, wire deposits, opening files, closing files, record books, photocopying, etc. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Requirements: Previous experience as a legal assistant with some exposure to Real Estate Law or Condominiums would be considered an asset Successful completion of a related post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program Handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands The ability to be flexible to the changing demands of the job Skills: Strong technical skills using Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications Working experience with Lawyer Done Deal or similar database and Teraview would be an asset Flexible to work overtime as required Strong verbal and written communication Interested candidates should apply today.
