Graduate Nurse
Join our team at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate Nurse to join our team at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich, Massachusetts. As a Graduate Nurse, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to provide care to our residents while you await the results of your NCLEX licensure exam.

Hourly rate ranges from $40 to $46 for LPNs and $45 to $51 for RNs, depending on the shift. Weekly pay!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident

  • Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care

  • Follow physician's orders and render complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders

  • Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes

  • Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs

  • Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list

Requirements:

  • Must have graduated from a Massachusetts board-approved nursing education program within one year of hire date

  • Must provide documentation from your nursing program showing your graduation date

  • Must provide proof of scheduled NCLEX licensure exam within 90 days of hire

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions

  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
