Graduate Clinical Intern (Unpaid-Full Academic Year)

About ESS

Effective School Solutions (ESS) is a leading provider of school-based mental health services for K-12 students, serving over 2,000 students across nine states. ESS delivers high-acuity clinical care within public schools, helping students with significant emotional and behavioral needs achieve academic and mental health stability.

About the Internship

ESS is seeking a graduate-level Clinical Counseling Intern (Master's in Clinical Counseling) for a full academic year unpaid placement.

This internship offers hands-on experience providing school-based mental health services under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Interns will be embedded within one school site and will work as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, interns will:

  • Provide individual counseling to students

  • Co-facilitate or facilitate group therapy

  • Participate in treatment planning and case consultation
