The Regional Business Development Leader role involves strategic planning, marketing, and business development in the Southeast Texas region (Greater Houston area). Key responsibilities include contributing region-specific insights to market analysis, developing regional strategies aligned with operational plans, leading coordination meetings, and facilitating key hires. Additionally, the role entails managing client information, developing marketing campaigns, representing the company at events, and ensuring client satisfaction on ongoing projects. This is a full-time position paid bi-weekly on a salary basis with competitive bonus opportunities.ย

Responsibilities
  • Contributes region-specific market information to Parkhill's Market Scan to help identify growth opportunities
  • Facilitates the development of a regional strategy that is in alignment with the Parkhill Strategic Plan and Sector Operational Plans
  • Leads and facilitates coordination meetings with Regional Business Development Team (RBDT)
  • Coordinates with RBDT and SDs to help with key hires for the region
  • Works with the Marketing team to develop and implement a region-specific marketing initiative (sponsorships, org involvement, brand awareness, etc.)
  • Serves as primary external representative of Parkhill at major local conferences, organizations, and/or client meetings
  • Coordinates community and industry involvement of RBDT and other regional staff
  • Leads and/or supports proposal development efforts for strategic pursuits
  • Works with RBDT to identify target clients and opportunities in the region
  • Helps implement pre-positioning activities with key focus on client-facing actions
  • Leads Client Win Plans completed for target clients in region and supports implementation
  • Works with RBDT and Sector Directors to make key decisions on Go/No-Go regional opportunities
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
  • Experience in business development, marketing, or client engagement within Southeast Texas (Greater Houston area), with experience in Central Texas considered an additional asset
  • Previous roles in leadership or management, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and drive business growth
  • Familiarity with the Architecture / Civil Engineering industry, including market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscape
  • Ability to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and clients
  • Strong negotiation abilities to close deals and form strategic partnerships
  • Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders and clients
