Job description

Summary
 
The Department Secretary serves as the initial contact person for the EAP Department. Independently performs receptionist and clerical duties for the EAP/SAP staff and provides secretarial support to all EAP leaders. Also provides support to other Parkview Employer Solutions teams as needed. Areas of responsibility may include payroll, documentation and secretarial responsibilities, administrative tasks related to EAP/SAP/PES contracts and services, scheduling, ordering supplies, coordinating office related functions, greeting customers, special events, projects, and support with the Coworker Emergency Fund. Collaboratively works with EAP/SAP/PES team members on process improvement opportunities. Other duties as assigned to support PES teams.
 
Education
 
Must be a High School graduate or equivalent with one year additional secretarial training at a college, business schools or trade school.
 
Experience 
 
Must have 3 or more years of secretarial experience. Physicians office or clinic experience preferred. Must have experience interfacing with business, third party payors and the general public.
 
Other Qualifications
 
Ability to type 50 wpm and utilize all aspects of current word processing and spreadsheet technology including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
