WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • The Sr. Group Manager, Integrated Retail and In-Market Communications is responsible for Hyundai's retail and in-market communications strategy, execution, and messaging across all channels. This role provides strategic leadership to ensure national brand and product priorities are effectively translated into retail communications that drive consumer demand, dealer traffic, and sales performance.
  • This position leads the Retail media production process from planning and strategy through production and trafficking, ensuring retail-driven marketing including Promotional and National Sales Event work is effectively leveraged across all platforms. The role ensures all in-market communications maintain consistency with Hyundai's brand, amplifying a clear and cohesive voice in the marketplace 
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Lead retail and inmarket communications strategy aligned with Hyundai brand voice and creative direction
  • Define retail messaging and oversee creative execution for clarity, consistency, and impact
  • Translate national brand strategy into retail communications that drive engagement and conversion
  • Oversee development and production of Tier 2 communications, including promotions and Sales Events
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and performance across all deliverables
  • Monitor campaign performance; use insights to optimize execution and effectiveness
  • Partner with Regional Marketing to align messaging with inmarket execution
  • Maintain ownership split between messaging (Retail Communications) and execution (Regional Marketing)
  • Collaborate with Brand & Advertising leadership to align messaging and campaign intent
  • Integrate monthly incentives; ensure accuracy and compliance with partners
  • Lead monthly marketing alignment and field readiness
  • Manage budgets; optimize resources and spend with Marketing Finance
  • Provide leadership updates with insights and performance trends
  • Lead strategic direction and execution of retail communications initiatives
  • Oversee agency performance and deliverables
  • Present strategies and results to senior leadership for alignment and buyin
  • Manage team performance, hiring, development, and prioritization
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Master's degree a plus
  • 10+ years of marketing/advertising experience
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Agency and/or client-side experience required
  • Minimum 5 years managing direct reports and agency workflow
  • Ability to lead large-scale integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Strong strategic thinking and creative leadership capabilities
  • Ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
