Macfeat Lab School Administrative Support
Job Purpose
The Macfeat Early Childhood Laboratory School offers preschool and kindergarten classrooms and after school child care for children ages three to five. Macfeat also serves as a research site. Throughout the school year, faculty members, graduate,and undergraduate students from various university departments spend time in Macfeat observing, participating, and interacting positively with the children. The Administrative Support position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the lab school by assisting with organization, resource management, communications, and day-to-day program needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for daily lab school operationsAssist with inventory management, ordering, and organization of supplies and materials
Maintain and organize classroom and program resourcesSupport documentation, filing, and record-keeping processes
Assist with preparation and maintenance of bulletin boards and displaysSupport communication efforts, including social media updates and program materials
Help coordinate and organize program events and activitiesAssist with snack preparation and help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, as needed
*Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the lab school
