NOW HIRING: Assistant Volleyball Coach
Martin County West High School
Martin County West High School is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Volleyball Coach to support and contribute to the success of our volleyball program. This position works closely with the Head Coach to help develop student-athletes and foster a positive, competitive, and student-centered athletic environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with the volleyball program at the varsity, JV, and/or developmental levels
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of effective practice plans and game strategies
  • Assisting with athlete skill development, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship
  • Helping build and maintain a strong, inclusive team culture that reflects school and community values
  • Supporting athlete supervision, safety, injury prevention, and overall well-being
  • Communicating effectively with athletes, parents/guardians, and coaching staff
  • Assisting with administrative and organizational duties as assigned
  • Supporting offseason volleyball opportunities such as camps, clinics, and development programs
  • Promoting academic success, character development, and positive citizenship among athletes

Qualifications:
  • Volleyball playing or coaching experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain required Minnesota coaching licensure
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to student-athlete development and program success
  • Willingness to collaborate with the Head Coach, Activities Director, and school staff
  • Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and strategies

Compensation:
Stipend starting at $3450 based on years of experience.
