Position Summary
The Head Strength & Conditioning Coach will oversee and coordinate the strength and conditioning program for the NCAA Division I athletic teams of the university. This position will work closely with head coaches in developing conditioning, weight training, and nutrition programs.
Date of first consideration: 05/07/2026.
Essential Functions
  • Provide direct sports performance support for assigned sports.
  • Supervision of strength and conditioning staff.
  • Schedule sport usage of the sports performance center.
  • Manage sports performance and nutrition budgets.
  • Coordinate with Sports Dietitian to assist in implementing nutritional aspects of sports performance.
  • Participate in administrative meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in exercise science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working as a strength and conditioning coach at a college/university.
  • Current certification as a CSCS or SCCC strength coach. Or other recognized certification by the NCAA
  • Current CPR/AED & first aid certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree in exercise science or related field.
  • 5 years experience at an NCAA Division I institution.
