Job Summary/Basic Function
  • Provide assistance with instruction during all official practices and competitions.
  • Assist in player evaluations during practices and games.
  • Organize and execute individual skill instruction.
  • Motivate student-athletes to maximize their potential on and off the field.
  • Enforce team rules and expectations.
  • Schedule, coordinate and implement weight lifting activities in conjunction with the assigned strength-training staff.
  • Assist in the recruitment of student-athletes who meet institutional and NCAA requirements; to include scheduling and coordinating recruiting events not limited to unofficial and official visits.
  • Develop scouting reports prior to upcoming opponents to assist in implantation of game plans.
  • Oversee game submission to Hudl Exchange at the conclusion of each home contest.
  • Monitor and supervise team study hall. -Assist with all team-bonding activities in and out of season.
  • Assist with setting up and supervising all community service opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of mental health, sexual violence and life skills training.
  • Coordinate team travel with appropriate administrative staff.
  • Participate in program and department fundraising efforts.
  • Oversee the inventory of equipment and uniforms as well as the maintenance of soccer facilities.
  • Abide by all institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulation as well as report any and all violations.
  • Support athletic administration in an area such as marketing and promotions, game operations, sports information, compliance or fan engagement.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by head coach.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is required.
Commitment to being a positive role model, as well as having excellent communication skills.
Must possess a current valid driver's license.
Must be enrolled/registered for Fall 2025.
The graduate assistant coaching position allows for full tuition (the student is responsible for all fees associated with the classes), on-campus housing and provides a stipend of $4,000 a year.
  • A criminal background check will be required as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Collegiate-level playing or coaching experience in the sport of football.
  • Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations.
  • Experience using Synergy and ARMS software.
  • CPR/AED First Aid Certification.
