As an Operating Room Registered Nurse , you'll work alongside skilled surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure every patient receives outstanding care before, during, and after surgery. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

  • Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile operating room environment.

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Monitor patients throughout surgery, ensuring safety and responding to changes in condition.

  • Accurately document patient care, medications, and surgical procedures.

  • Advocate for patients while delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.

  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within (3) months from date of hire

  • Must possess and maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or within (6) months from date of hire
