About Javelin Private Capital Group ("JPCG")

JPCG is the independent, full-service Investment Banking Advisory group of Javelin Global Commodities. JPCG provides investment banking services to support clients' business objectives including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises, project finance and capital structure advisory. The Role

JPCG is recruiting high-potential graduates to join our New York office and support our growing Investment Banking practice. Graduate Analysts work closely with senior bankers and gain hands-on exposure to live transactions across regular financings, distressed financing, and restructuring.

You will be part of small deal teams, allowing for meaningful responsibility, direct interaction with senior bankers, and early exposure to clients. This role is designed for candidates who are eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to develop a strong foundation in investment banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis of companies, industries, and financial performance
  • Assist with the review of historical financial statements and forward-looking financial information
  • Help build financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation analyses
  • Participate in due diligence processes and transaction execution
  • Conduct industry and company research
  • Prepare presentations and supporting materials for Juniper and its clients

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) from a top-tier institution with a strong academic record
  • Relevant internship experience in investment banking, finance, consulting, accounting, or a related field is strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong quantitative skills and understanding of financial statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) is a plus
  • Prior internships or coursework in finance, economics, accounting, consulting, or related fields preferred, but not required
  • US work authorization
