Job description

JOB TITLE: GRADUATE ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary admissions counselor/department liaison for graduate programs at the University of St. Thomas
  • Develops and maintains relationships with academic departments, faculty, campus stakeholders, industry partners, and alumni to support graduate enrollment growth and partnership development.
  • Promotes graduate degree, certificate, and professional development programs through strategic outreach initiatives, recruitment events, presentations, conferences, webinars, and targeted communication campaigns.
  • Provides individualized admissions counseling, evaluates application materials and academic credentials, and guides prospective students through the admissions process.
  • Maintains accurate records of recruitment activities, partnerships, prospect engagement, and enrollment outcomes using university systems and CRM
  • Represents the university at recruitment events, professional meetings, and community engagements.
  • Assists with the cultivation of corporate and organizational partnerships that expand educational opportunities and contribute to graduate enrollment objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in admissions, enrollment management, or recruitment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external partners, employers, community organizations, and prospective students.
  • Strong communication, presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal
  • Experience developing outreach strategies and managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
