Vintage US Coin Grader
Want to grade with us? Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), is currently seeking an experienced Vintage US Coin Grader to join our grading team. Qualified candidates will display a high level of accuracy, integrity, self-motivation and ability to work within a team environment. The selected candidate will be trained using NGC's standards for numismatic grading.
Part of the Certified Collectibles Group (CCG), NGC is the world's leading and largest third-party coin certification service. As demand for our expertise continues to grow, so do we. Celebrating more than 30 years of business, NGC has graded over 55 million coins, including many of the hobby's most famed rarities, and is the official grading service of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) and the American Numismatic Association (ANA).
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of technical numismatic knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of various eras of minting techniques, metal alloys, counterfeit detection and coin alteration required
  • Ability to accurately and consistently grade rare and collectible coins by using the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale
  • Experience in variety attribution and authentication
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business functions
