Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions.
Take and develop X-rays as needed.
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and general oral hygiene practices.
Manage patient records and update treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Handle administrative tasks like scheduling, inventory, and patient intake as necessary.
CPR Certification (or willing to obtain prior to starting).
Basic knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive work environment.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, but not required.
Salary Range
Full-time $13 - $21 per hour

Shift & Schedule
Office hours Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM
Arrival 8:15AM for training, morning set up, Morning huddle
Requirements
- Basic life support
- Cosmetic Dentistry
- Driver’s license
- Emergency Dentistry
- Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
- General Dentistry
- Implant Dentistry
- Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Open Dental
- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
Proficiency in Open Dental or similar practice management software
Knowledge of dental radiography and medical imaging equipment
Experience with dental sterilization and disinfection protocols
Ability to perform basic dental receptionist and administrative tasks
Understanding of medical coding and records management in a dental environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferences
Experience supporting prosthodontics procedures
Familiarity with dental waste management procedures
Previous dental clinic or medical administrative support experience
