Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to support large-scale technology projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management processes, SDLC activities, hybrid Agile methodologies, risk management, reporting, and coordination activities. Experience supporting state government or health and human services projects is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the PMO Manager to support project processes, governance activities, and quality assurance expectations.
• Support project onboarding activities and staff management coordination.
• Assist with schedule management, resource planning, and team availability tracking using Microsoft Project.
• Manage RAID items including risks, action items, decisions, and issues for large-scale technology projects.
• Perform quality reviews of project deliverables and work products.
• Coordinate project office activities, assigned tasks, and operational support activities.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Prepare reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and project documentation.
• Conduct research and provide administrative support to project teams as needed.
• Anticipate project team needs and ensure effective communication and coordination.

Required Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience supporting large organizations, projects, and multiple teams.
• Experience supporting state government or health and human services projects preferred.
• Advanced understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities and phases.
• Experience working with hybrid Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing project schedules, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with state government technology projects.
• Experience supporting Health and Human Services (HHS) initiatives.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar project tracking tools.
• Experience with project governance and PMO frameworks.

Expected Deliverables:
• Project schedules and resource management documentation.
• RAID logs including risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
• Project status reports and presentations.
• Meeting minutes and action item tracking.
• Quality-reviewed project deliverables.
• PMO coordination and administrative support activities.

Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
