Job description

As a Construction Project Manager, you support the Operations team with coordinating all aspects of store remodeling projects or new store construction. You will partner with stores, design teams, vendors, and contractors on preparation, inspection, and solutions for Von Maur or Dry Goods construction projects.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Coordinate the remodeling and construction process at new or existing locations
  • Travel to conduct site visits and monitor project schedules
  • Develop, analyze and review project budget
  • Analyze project bids and negotiate pricing; prepare construction documents and provide recommendations
  • Order and coordinate installation of fixtures, furniture, and flooring
  • Coordinate building repair and maintenance projects
  • Develop effective relationships and communication with contractors
  • Identify and implement solutions to quickly solve project issues
  • Be available to work on-site in Davenport, IA. This position involves frequent travel
