We've averaged 50% revenue growth each year over the past 8 years. We're looking for an experienced Sales Professional to help play an important part in our growth.

Purpose
Achieve sales targets by increasing the customer base of car dealerships, rental facilities, fleets, and any other accounts with high volume requirements for key replacements.
Summary
Business Development Sales Manager (BDM) is responsible for applying business knowledge and sales expertise in increasing CKE market share. The BDM will play a key role in the success of the company by developing new accounts in their territory. He or she will utilize the sales tools given, as well as their own best practices, to identify and prospect areas of sales growth. The BDM will coordinate with their Regional Sales Manager, Account Managers and Inside Sales team to identify leads and potential business opportunities.
Duties Critical to Success
  • Present Car Keys Express to dealerships, fleet managers, and rental facilities
  • Use of our in-house CRM, Internal, to prospect for new business
  • Log sales entries in Internal for every call, email, stop, and presentation
  • Plan and coordinate travel to maximize in-person presentations daily
  • Coordinate with RSM and inside sales to ensure closure of committed targets in a timely manner
  • Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings (via Zoom app)
  • Complete all onboarding and ongoing training
  • Learn CKE selling points to ensure a consistent message across all Regions

  • Ability to efficiently move leads through the sales funnel to a close
  • Highly professional and knowledgeable, able to effectively represent the CKE brand

  • Strong situational awareness in unique sales presentation settings
  • Ability to pre-plan cold calls to maximize effectiveness
  • Communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively, as well as work independently

Deliverables
  • 50 In-person sales stops per week (40 at prospective customers)
  • Minimum of 5 new accounts ("Wins") per week
  • Meet or exceed established sales quotas
  • Touch base with assigned RSM every day
  • Touch base with Territory manager/Assistant Territory Managers weekly
  • Spend 10 days per month making sales stops outside home territory.
    • Home territory is defined as <50 miles from residence

Relations to supervisory and subordinating roles within the company
Immediate Supervisor: National Sales Director with a strong dotted line reporting relationship to the Regional Sales Manager
Direct Reports: None, however a strong working relationship with Territory and Account Managers is required.
