Shaw Contract Account Executive - Huntsville, AL

Position Overview

Shaw Contract is seeking a highly driven Account Executive to lead end use business development in the Southeast's strongest technology, aerospace, and defense growth market. This role is centered on building deep relationships within the end user channel while driving specifications and influencing high-profile commercial projects. This opportunity is strategic in accelerating growth with a high-performing team with strong existing momentum and significant growth opportunities across Education, Healthcare, and Government interior projects.

What You'll Do :

  • Drive new business development across the end use channel in Education, Healthcare, and a strong focus on the Redstone Arsenal.

  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers & end users

  • Travel daily within the territory to develop and grow accounts

  • Lead product presentations, design consultations, and specification efforts

  • Manage projects end-to-end: from opportunity identification through installation and post-project follow-up

  • Maintain an active pipeline through CRM tools (Salesforce) and lead generation platforms

  • Stay informed on design trends, product innovation, and market activity

  • Represent Shaw Contract in the local market through meetings and industry events

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of sales experience OR equivalent experience in commercial interiors, A&D, or related industry

  • Must have the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team-selling environment with shared financial outcomes and mutual accountability

  • Living in North Alabama (Huntsville preferred)

  • Comfortable with regular after hour networking + events

Strongly preferred experience or skills:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience calling on institutional segments

  • Proven record of Business Development

  • CRM (salesforce) experience
