We are looking for a detail-oriented, digitally savvy Digital Content & Web Coordinator to help maintain and strengthen CCYP’s growing portfolio of web properties, business directories, digital content, and online business information. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day content management behind CCYP’s digital ecosystem, from updating business listings and directory information to publishing articles, refreshing website pages, organizing images and digital assets, and ensuring that information across our platforms remains accurate, professional, and up to date. This is not a web development or programming position.
The Role
  • Website Content Management: Update existing pages and publish new content across CCYP-owned websites using content management systems such as WordPress or similar platforms.
  • SEO & AEO Content Support: Apply basic SEO and Answer Engine Optimization best practices when publishing content, including page titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, structured information, business categories, and other content elements that improve digital discoverability.
  • Bilingual Content Coordination: Support English- and Chinese-language content across CCYP properties, including formatting, proofreading, data entry, categorization, and ensuring bilingual information is properly displayed.
Requirements
  • Digital Literacy: Strong general understanding of websites, online business listings, search engines, social platforms, digital content, and how users discover businesses online.
  • SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with page titles, meta descriptions, headings, links, keywords, image optimization, categories, tags, and other foundational SEO concepts.
  • CMS & Website Comfort: Experience working with WordPress, another content management system, website builders, online directories, e-commerce platforms, or similar digital publishing environments.
  • Technical Curiosity: Willingness to learn new CMS platforms, AI tools, content systems, database interfaces, and emerging digital publishing technologies.
  • Bilingual Ability: Strong English and Chinese reading ability is highly preferred, particularly because CCYP manages a significant amount of bilingual business and editorial content. Mandarin speaking ability is also a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Google Search, Google Business Profiles, Google Search Console, analytics platforms, or similar digital tools.
  • Basic image editing or image preparation experience using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar applications.
  • Familiarity with SEO, local search, structured data, schema markup, or Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, content preparation, categorization, summarization, data cleanup, or content quality control is a plus.
  • Experience working with Chinese-language websites, media, directories, or business information is especially valuable.
