Reflective Space Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our community health clinic operations. You will engage regularly with psychiatric staff and other healthcare professionals through virtual meetings, consultations, and collaborative treatment planning sessions, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Provide psychotherapy and case management services to clients, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet individual needs.
• Participate in collaborative treatment planning efforts with psychiatric staff, assessing client needs, progress, and response to therapy.
• Conduct educational sessions and training events to inform clients, families, and community groups about mental health and wellness.
• Evaluate new therapeutic methods and tools for addressing emotional and environmental challenges faced by clients, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
• Refer clients to appropriate community resources and agencies, facilitating access to additional support services as needed.
• Document all session notes, treatment plans, and referrals in a timely and organized manner to maintain thorough client records.
• Participate in group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive atmosphere and facilitating discussions that encourage healing and personal growth.
• Maintain professional boundaries and practice self-care to ensure personal well-being while serving clients effectively.

Your clients will include individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds facing challenges related to mental health disorders, substance use, and life transitions. You will be working closely with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors who require empathetic support and empowering therapeutic strategies. Your role is vital in providing culturally sensitive care that respects and acknowledges the unique experiences of each client.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field.
• Must possess an independent license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries with clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary for maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• A commitment to principles of racial equity and inclusivity in service delivery.

• Experience working with diverse populations including children, families, and individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
• Prior experience engaging in community outreach and education to promote mental health awareness.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and online counseling platforms.
• Previous involvement in substance abuse treatment and recovery programs.
