We work closely with homeowners, landlords, contractors, and maintenance professionals to deliver quality repair, remodeling, and restoration projects from start to finish.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Estimator who has a strong background in residential construction or property maintenance and enjoys managing projects, solving problems, and working directly with clients.
Position Overview
The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for inspecting residential properties, preparing repair and construction estimates, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing maintenance and remodeling projects through completion.
This role is ideal for someone with extensive hands-on experience in residential construction, maintenance, or restoration who has transitioned into estimating or project management. The successful candidate understands multiple construction trades and can confidently communicate repair recommendations and project costs to property owners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of residential properties.
  • Perform basic home inspections and identify repair or maintenance needs.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for:
    • Property maintenance
    • Rental property repairs
    • Construction projects
    • Remodeling
    • Reconstruction
    • Insurance-related repairs (when applicable)
  • Explain estimates, repair options, and project scopes to property owners.
  • Compare contractor bids and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple maintenance and construction projects simultaneously.
  • Schedule, supervise, and communicate with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Source qualified subcontractors for specialized work.
  • Guide maintenance technicians in troubleshooting property issues and determining appropriate repair solutions.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality of work.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, photos, estimates, invoices, and project updates.
  • Respond to occasional after-hours emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications (Required)
  • Extensive experience in residential construction, property maintenance, restoration, or remodeling.
  • Strong estimating experience for residential repair or construction projects.
  • Solid knowledge of one or more skilled trades such as:
    • Plumbing
    • Carpentry
    • Flooring
    • Appliance repair
    • Electrical
    • HVAC
  • Working knowledge of multiple residential building systems.
  • Ability to identify issues and recommend practical repair solutions.
