Construction Manager
Pleasanton, CA | Bay Area Projects
Roebbelen Contracting is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead meaningful projects throughout the Bay Area.
For more than 65 years, Roebbelen has partnered with clients to deliver complex education, civic, healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects across California. As a Construction Manager, you'll represent the owner, guide projects from planning through closeout, and build strong relationships with clients and project partners.
What You'll Do
  • Manage projects from planning and design through construction and closeout
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, project controls, documentation, and overall performance
  • Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Lead project meetings, track decisions and action items, and maintain accountability
  • Interpret and administer contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Monitor contractor performance, safety, staffing, logistics, and quality
  • Identify risks early and develop practical, proactive solutions
  • Support programming, Design-Build coordination, and preconstruction planning
  • Manage punch lists, warranties, final documentation, and owner turnover
  • Support proposals, interviews, and client relationship development

What You Bring
  • Design-Build and programming experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least five years of progressively responsible construction management experience
  • Nine or more years of related experience may be considered in place of a degree
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, estimating, cost management, project controls, and construction documentation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and platforms such as Procore, Primavera P6, SureTrak, or similar systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
